WHERE WILL THE CONFERENCE SESSIONS BE HELD?

All conference sessions will be held at the Novotel Manly Pacific, Sydney, Australia.

The Conference Welcome Reception and Networking Function will be held at the Novotel Manly Pacific.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN MY CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FEE?

Morning teas, lunches and afternoon teas are included in the full registration fee. The Welcome Reception and Networking Function are included with the full registration type only.

Additional tickets to the Welcome Reception and Networking Function are available for purchase.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR THE CONFERENCE?

During the conference days, smart casual attire is preferred. Smart casual attire is also recommended for the Welcome Reception and Networking Function.

WHAT IS THE CLIMATE FOR SYDNEY IN DECEMBER?

During summer, average temperatures range from 18.6 - 25.8°C (65.5 - 78.4°F), and average humidity spikes to 65%. This is a great time to enjoy Sydney’s abundant beaches when water temperatures rise to 21.9 - 23.7°C (71.4 - 74.7°F).

CAN I BRING EXTRA GUESTS TO THE SOCIAL EVENTS?

Yes, extra tickets to both the Welcome Reception and the Networking Function can be purchased up until Friday 23 November 2018.

Additional Welcome Reception tickets can be purchased for $TBC per ticket and additional Networking Function tickets can be purchased for $TBC.

WHERE DO I PARK AT NOVOTEL MANLY?

Novotel Manly Pacific have a carpark on-site with a limited number of spaces. Parking is subject to availability and is not guaranteed. Self-parking is $40 for overnight guests, $40 for day parking or $55 overnight for valet. Please note, the car park has a height restriction of 1.97 metres.

Alternative parking is available at the unaffiliated council car park in Central Avenue.

HOW DO I REGISTER FOR THE CONFERENCE?

Registrations are accepted via the register page on this website.

WHAT IS THE CUT-OFF DATE TO REGISTER FOR THE PATHWAYS14 CONFERENCE?

The online registrations will not be available from Monday 3 December 2018.
Registrations will then be available onsite at the conference from Wednesday 5 December 2018.

I NEED TO CANCEL. IS THERE A CANCELLATION POLICY?

Up to 30 days before the conference, registration cancellations will incur a $110.00 cancellation fee.

Within 30 days of the conference there will be NO refunds for any registrations.

WHAT SECURITY IS AVAILABLE FOR ONLINE PAYMENTS?

PCI Compliance - Security of the Cardholders Account Data
Consec's online payment system is PCI (payment card industry) version 3 level 1 compliant - this is the highest standard possible.
Within this certification, our payment system is required to:
• Perform yearly onsite audits by a PCI DSS QSA.
• Perform external penetration tests of our sites once a year.
• Perform internal/external vulnerability tests once a quarter.
• Program guard against the top ten internet vulnerabilities called OWASP top 10.
• Deploy a Web Application Firewall which inspects every packet (data intrusion, SQL injection, Request Site Forgery XSS..).
• Deploy File Integrity Monitors.
• Safe Log Files and guard log files against tampering.
• Double encrypt sensitive data once with Rijndael 128bit and a second time RSA 2048 bit key length.
• Follow separation of keys.
• Lock keys in an unreachable vault.
• Recycle passwords every 90 days.
• Perform Background checks for new employees with the Federal Crime Authority.
• Employ Development Lifecycle Processes and Procedures.
• Onboard/Off board employees.
• Minimize access to sensitive systems.

Why are we processing your personal data?

We ask for your personal data to facilitate your involvement in Conferences and Events and/or memberships run by Consec – Conference and Event Management.

Other third parties that will have access to your personal data

Your data will be shared with other organisations and third parties in order to process your partnership/registration/exhibition/presentations. These may include but are not limited to our Exhibition provider, App provider, Ecommerce, Hotels and Printing provider.

How long will we store your personal data?

Your personal data will be retained by us after the conclusion of this event and for promotion of any future Pathways Conferences and further correspondence with ATEND.

If you do not wish for your details to be published in the delegate list please select on your registration 'I do not want my name to appear on the delegate list'. This is located on the Data processing consent page of the registration form.

DISCLAIMER?

The information on this website is correct at the time of providing, however, the organisers reserve the right to change the information where necessary without notice.

Attendees are advised that photographs may be taken during the conference and reproduced for promotional purposes.

LIABILITY WAIVER?

In the event of industrial disruptions, the Pathways14 Conference and the organisers accept no responsibility. In the event of the venue becoming unusable or other circumstances, or the need to cancel the conference there can be no liability on the Pathways14 Conference or the organisers.

DO I NEED TO WEAR A NAME BADGE?

Yes, your name badge is your entry to the Pathways14 Conference sessions and trade exhibition. If you misplace your name badge, please see the Consec staff at the registration desk for a replacement.

NO SMOKING POLICY?

All internal areas of the Novotel Manly are non-smoking areas.

DO YOU HAVE ANY SPECIFIC NEEDS?

We endeavour to ensure delegates attending the Pathways14 Conference with specific needs are catered for.

DO I NEED PERSONAL INSURANCE?

Delegates shall be regarded in every aspect as carrying their own risk for loss or injury to persons or property, including baggage during the Pathways14 Conference. We strongly recommend that at the time of booking your travel and tours you take out a travel insurance policy of your choice. The policy should include the loss of deposit through cancellation, medical insurance, loss or damage to personal property, financial loss incurred through disruptions to accommodation or travel arrangements due to strikes or other industrial action. The organisers are in no way responsible for any claims concerning insurance.

WHAT DOES THE GOODS AND SERVICES TAX (GST) MEAN?

A goods and services tax of 10% is levied on most purchases in Australia and is included in the purchase price of the goods or services. You may be eligible for a refund of the GST on goods purchased in Australia. For more information visit www.customs.gov.au.

WHAT PUBLIC TRANSPORT FACILITIES ARE AVAILABLE?

Arriving by Ferry
Novotel Manly Pacific is 30 minutes from Sydney’s CBD by ferry or 18 minutes by fast ferry.

Arriving by Taxi
The hotel is located 15 kilometres from Sydney’s CBD with access from all major roads.
Taxis can be booked by contacting 13Cabs (13 22 27) or RSL Cabs (02 9581 1111).

Sydney Airports
Sydney domestic and international airports are located 35 kilometres from Novotel Sydney Manly Pacific. We can arrange transfers and shuttle service as required.
